FA117: Where did my trade go?

Front Arena consists of a number of components that are installed and configured to connect Front Arena to external exchange markets. This training will be a demonstration with practical exercises how to configure the components involved in the data flow from different exchange platforms to the Front Arena Data Server (ADS).
The following topics will be covered:
- Logical architecture overview
- Component overview: Arena Message Broker (AMB), eXchange Message Broker Adapter (XMBA), Arena Message Broker Adapter (AMBA)
- ttt customizations
- AMBA hook customizations
- Trade flow example: Follow a trade from the exchange to the ADS
- Instruments and orderbooks, define and load
- Tools for analyzing, searching, monitoring
- Trouble shooting
- Tips and tricks
- Including: “Spot the errors” – hands on exercise

Goal of the course
At the end of the course, participants will understand how the dataflow from and to an exchange market connection can be setup and customized in Front Arena.
Target audience
System administrators and business experts working with exchange connections
Participants must be employed by a Customer of SunGard Front Arena or an Authorised Front Arena Partner.
Required knowledge level
Participants should have a basic understanding of the Front Arena Data Model and the principles of exchange trading. Programming and database beginner knowledge would be nice to have but is not required
