FA201: FRONT ARENA Introduction: Equities

Duration of course:  1 day

 The course will focus on the use of the PRIME client, FRONT ARENA's proprietary trading and risk management tool. The course covers:

• FRONT ARENA Architecture
• Introduction to PRIME
• Trading

  - Exchange
  - Off exchange and OTC
  - Order management

• Simulation

• Position keeping

• Summary

• Preview: Advanced Equities Trading

Goal of the course

Participants will be able to use FRONT ARENA for normal trading and have an understanding of the possibilities of some of the more advanced features.

Target audience

Traders new to PRIME or existing users who wish to get more out of the system.

Participants must be employed by a Customer of SunGard FRONT ARENA or an Authorised FRONT ARENA Partner.

Required knowledge level

No previous FRONT ARENA knowledge is necessary
